Learn how to make yummy hot cocoa, and earn money selling it! A hot cocoa stand is a great way to introduce our youngest entrepreneurs to the world of business and is fun! From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits to experimenting with recipes, students have fun while developing business savvy! As a showcase event, students launch the stand as a fundraiser for a charity they select!

Our 6th degree black belt instructor with extensive teaching experience will introduce techniques and strategies of tae kwon do and karate, aikido, kung fu and other martial arts.

Section A1 (at the community center) - Kids class for white, yellow, green, and blue belts: Program will cover motor skills, tumbling, and basic kicks, pad work and games to inspire this age group for the sport. This multi-faceted program will also introduce kickboxing and self-defense.

Section A2- Red, blue and black belts of all ages. This class will cover advanced techniques. This class is for red, blue and black belts only.

Welcome to Mary's Culinary Classes! Mary has been cooking her whole life. She learned sitting on the counter as a young child, like most Italian children do, watching her mother baking and cooking traditional Italian cuisine. Her repertoire has expanded beyond cooking Italian food as she has spent many years working in the restaurant business. Mary spent many years working with children of all ages and has continued to work with children of all abilities.

Wrestlers will learn basic wrestling techniques and participate in fun games during each session. No wrestling experience required.

Step 1: Register for Transportation - Beginning Wednesday, October 23rd

The first step is to register for transportation. Registration for the buses will be handled through Parks and Recreation. To register for transportation, please visit: (www.guilfordparkrec.com) and use the following program number:

- 16212 A1 - Adams Middle School

- Depart Time: Adams Middle School at 3:00 PM
- Return Time: Town Hall parking lot at 9:00 PM

Once you have registered for the bus and received confirmation, you will subsequently receive an email with instructions on how to purchase your tickets directly through Mt. Southington.

Step 2: Register for Tickets through Mt. Southington

After securing your transportation, you can then proceed to register for tickets with Mt. Southington. (Do not purchase tickets from Mt. Southington if you have NOT received confirmation that you are registered for transportation!) Thank you.

Learn both step and group dancing with a traditional style. The first class starts with the Irish jig and moves on to advanced steps in reel, slip jig, and hornpipe. The advanced/teen class will work on steps with an emphasis on more intricate foot movement. Dancers will start with treble hornpipe and treble jig steps and continue on to set pieces and more modern River Dance-style treble reel steps.

Participants will learn Traditional Irish step Dancing. All dancers will start with the Irish jig and advance through Reel, Hornpipe and Slip Jig.
